Ecom Family Academy Reviews (2024 Update): Are Reginald & Tania Jennings Legit?

TLDR – Is This Print On Demand Business Course Really Worth Your Time?

Is This Print On Demand Business Course Really Worth Your Time?

Reginald and Tania are teaching you about ecommerce. Unlike physical stores, ecommerce stores give you the chance to sell products without having to worry about handling inventory, shipping products, or taking care of the return and refund policy.

With print on demand, the process is even easier. You simply find a single supplier who can print up your products for you. You list your designs on your site, then the supplier prints the product and sends it out to your customer.

But things that sound too good to be true often are too good to be true…

One of the big problems with this approach is that the e-commerce business has become supersaturated.

It’s a bit like trying out for your school basketball team. In elementary school, you’re up against a couple dozen other kids and everyone gets a turn. You get on the team, and you start learning your skills early. You’re ahead of the curve.

If you don’t start playing basketball till college, you’re up against hundreds of other kids, and some of the best ballers in the state. All these guys are way ahead of you… you’re not getting on that team.

This is like starting print on demand right now. There is some money to be made here, but the established names keeping all the dollars for themselves.

  • All the best fulfillment services and supplier contracts are already snapped up
  • These big players have their target audience and their free SEO traffic game dialed in
  • You’re left scrabbling around for the scraps.

Too little too late for ecommerce…

Mr and Mrs Ecom give a nice introduction to this world. The problem is “a nice introduction” probably isn’t going to cut it.

If you’re starting on your e-commerce journey now, you probably already missed the boat. Just like my own WNBA career isn’t likely to take off, you’re not likely to make millions with this model.

So what’s the alternative?

This is why I recommend a business model that gets you in on the ground floor… something like Digital Leasing.

This program is all about local lead generation. You create your website in a specialized niche, like glazing services in your neighborhood or pest control services in your hometown.

This niche becomes your market, your domain. You’re not battling it out for dwindling profits, because you are the go-to for leads on this patch.

Next, you lease this digital rental property out to local businesses in your area. Your local business partners will love you for this, because it means they’re getting the easy conversions they need to keep their business afloat, put food on the table, and look forward to a bright future. It’s a great thing to do for your local community.

Of course, you’re getting solid income in return. And, as it’s a rental property (a digital one) this income lands in your account on the same day each month. You’re not praying your e-commerce sales are going to pick up this month… you know how much you’re getting, and you know when you’re getting it.

And the best part? The semi-passive income. Once your first site is up and running, running your business is super easy. And you can scale up by adding new sites in new niches… as many as you want.

So what will you do with your new-found freedom?

  • Take that long overdue trip to Sydney, Tokyo, Singapore… wherever you want to go?
  • Hone your surf skills in Hawaii, your ski skills in Val d’isere?
  • Or make more special memories with the people who mean the most to you?

It’s your call.

Hit the link right here to get started with Digital Leasing today.

Who Is The Ecom Family Academy For… And Who’s It NOT For?

Who Does It Benefit and Who It Doesn't

Just like with everything else, there are Ecom Family Academy prosand there are Ecom Family Academy cons.

So who might benefit from this, and who should probably look elsewhere?

Who It’s For…

You might benefit from the Ecom Family Academy program if…

  • You’re an ecom beginner – This course starts from scratch, so you might find it a good way to learn about the entire process of getting your ecom store up and running.
  • You want to fill the world with your designs – If you have some design ideas but don’t know where to sell them, this could be a nice way into the market.
  • You don’t mind the negative comments – I couldn’t find too many positive reviews out there, but if you take the negativity with a pinch of salt, it might be worth a try.

Who It’s NOT For…

You’d probably be better off looking somewhere else if…

  • You have some ecom and print on demand business experience – If you already know a bit about the e-commerce business or the print on demand business, you might find the course too basic.
  • You’re looking to make good money and set yourself free – It’s getting harder and harder to make big bucks with a print on demand online store, so if you’re searching for financial freedom you might want to look elsewhere.
  • You get scared by bad reviews – Many reviews I found out there are not good, if this puts you off, you might want to search elsewhere.

The 1000 FT Ecom Family Academy Review

The 1000 FT Ecom Family Academy Review

Let’s get the full picture… what exactly is going on with this course?

The Ecom Family Academy Business Model

Is The Ecom Family Academy Worthwhile?

Time Investment2.7 out of 5 starsThe course is something you can zip through pretty quickly. Once you’re all set up, you should find print on demand a fairly hands-off business model… although don’t expect too much profit in return.
Level of Control1.6 out of 5 starsControl is a bit of a problem here. With print on demand, everything goes through your supplier. If they make a mistake, you’re customers are going to blame you!
Ease of Implementation3.0 out of 5 starsI’d say it’s pretty easy to put all this knowledge into practice. One of the reasons for this is the course is pretty basic, so you might find yourself searching for more advanced info elsewhere.
Profit Potential2.3 out of 5 starsReginald and Tania have made a big success of this model. Unfortunately, I think the days of big print on demand profits are over. I just don’t see big profit potential here.

The business model here is the ecommerce industry. Specifically, we’re dealing with print on demand.

So how does this work exactly? Well, you have your own online store where you list your products. When a customer buys a product, you send that order through to your supplier. They knock out the product, and ship it off to your customer.

Basically, you’re never having to worry about inventory, or shipping, or manufacturing, or anything like that, because your supplier sorts it all for you. You just makes the sales and stack the dollars… simple as that.

Well… maybe it’s not quite as simple as that. Here are a few things to keep in mind with this business model.

  1. The market is really saturated these days – There were 1.8 million e-commerce stores in the USA in 2020, and probably a lot more now. Getting your voice heard is really hard.
  2. Most print on demand business people don’t succeed – Almost two-thirds of print on demand stores close within their first year of trading!
  3. It’s hard to guarantee quality products and service – You don’t have any control over your suppliers, and if they are shipping poor quality products with slow service, you get blamed. There’s a reason Amazon enjoyed nearly 38% of all the ecommerce transactions in 2023… people know those guys can deliver. Customers won’t have the same confidence in you.

How Much Does The Ecom Family Academy Cost?

This is some pretty crucial information if you’re going to make a decision on the program. So what’s the course fee? How much does the Ecom Family Academy cost?

The cost itself is $1,495. For this price, you get access to all eight training modules, which basically takes you from scratch to selling your products online. There’s also a 30-day refund policy, which is nice.

This is not a bad price to be honest. I’ve seen plenty of similar store building courses that cost way more money. Just keep two things in mind here…

  1. The course fee and the total cost are very different – You’ll have to invest a lot more than 1500 bucks to sell products online. There’s a disclaimer that says you have to spend at least $1000 on paid ads, and this is just the beginning.
  2. The cost by itself doesn’t tell you much… you need value – Going for the cheapest course won’t necessarily leave you better off. Fast forward to the end of the course… did the modules give you the skills you need? Keep this in mind before you make your choice.

How Is The Ecom Family Academy Different?

Ecom Family Academy

You might have noticed something… there are a lot of other courses out there, teaching you Shopify store e-commerce skills or the right mindset for online business. So what makes this one any different to the rest?

It’s a little bit like Print Profits, because both claim to help you earn money with print on demand. However, Mr. and Mrs. Ecom have a more family-focused approach, although anyone can sign up.

It’s quite different to something like My Wife Quit Her Job. MWQHJ is more about dropshipping and FBA ecommerce, rather than print on demand.

So, how about those Mr. and Mrs. Ecom reviews? Reginald and Tania Jennings are the power couple behind the Ecom Family Academy. Also known as Mrs. and Mrs. Ecom, they have taken this business model and made a success of it.

From a young age, Reginald and Tania were interested in business and entrepreneurship. They come from similar backgrounds—their parents found success in the real estate business, making deals and executing transactions to make money for their families.

Whether it was nature or nurture, or a mixture of the two, Reginald and Tania chose the business route. Rather than property, though, they got into e-commerce. Like many young e-commerce entrepreneurs, they started out on eBay. Over the years, they’ve shifted to Shopify and the print on demand model.

More recently, they’ve started selling their knowledge online, helping others to do the same thing they did. It won’t work for everyone, but Reginal and Tania are at least proof that this business model can work for some people.

Is The Ecom Family Academy Legit?

A strongly worded comment about Ecom Family Academy

This is such a big question for any Ecom Family Academy review and for anyone interested in joining Reginald and Tania’s program – is the Ecom Family Academy legit?

I’d say Reginald and Tania are pretty legit. They’ve done well out of this business model, with winning product ranges and a solid income from their ecommerce platforms. There’s lots I like about this course, and I’d say they tick most of the boxes for setting up an e-commerce business.

The Ecom Family Academy course is fairly priced, and there’s a money-back guarantee. So I wouldn’t say it’s a scam.

But ‘ticking most of the boxes’ won’t always give you what you need. This course is aimed at beginners, which means anyone who signs up is already way, way behind the ecommerce pace. When you’re trying to catch up and move ahead of your competitors, you need a lot more than just some nice modules on setting up your store and designing a product on Canva.

And what about those other students, the guys who already know the basics and don’t have so much catching up to do? In all honesty, I think they’ll get bored. You don’t join a cycling club to learn how to ride a bike; you join to get those marginal gains that will push your performance to the next level.

Because this is a beginner-focused course, Reginald and Tania are keen to break down the fundamentals. This is fine if you don’t already know these fundamentals – you can’t run before you can walk, after all – but some commenters I found said you can just find all this stuff on YouTube for free. Not what you want to hear when you’re about to drop 1500 bucks on a course.

So no, it’s not a scam. But I get why some people might feel a bit disappointed when they reach the end of the modules.

My Personal Opinion On The Ecom Family Academy

My Personal Opinion: Scam or Legit?

Okay, here’s my personal opinion on the Ecom Family Academy: Is this a good option for anyone looking to make money online?

Unfortunately… no, I don’t.

Here’s what I’m really looking for when I review programs like this…

  1. Amazing coaching and course material—you’re out here to learn new skills and become a better version of yourself, so let’s learn!
  2. Fantastic profit potential – Of course, you want to at least make a good living out of this, so I want to see great profit margins.
  3. Freedom to do your own thing – Life is for living. It’s not just for working every minute of every day. So I need to see real freedom.

Is The Ecom Family Academy Your Ticket To Online Business Success?

I don’t think so… there is a bit of money to be made for print on demand sellers, but most people are going to struggle in this market.

Here’s why I think this…

My main issue is the business model, and how the course sets you up for success. The program is pretty beginner focused. Yeah, it picks up a bit towards the end, with a few different ways of levelling up your Shopify store and your business, but anyone but total beginners might find this a bit boring.

If you’ve got even a little experience in e-commerce and print on demand, you might complete the entire course and not feel you’ve learned anything.

So it’s good for beginners? Well… maybe. This is where my business model anxieties start kicking in. The ecom market is slammed these days, with experienced pros battling it out for a limited number of potential customers.

For beginner entrepreneurs, getting in to e-com now… I’d say you missed the boat. Once you’ve factored in your ad spend and other fees, you might struggle to make any money at all.

  1. So we’ve got good coaching and material, even if it’s a little on the basics side, I think the gurus give a good introduction to the business model.
  2. What we don’t got is great profits… the e-commerce world is getting increasingly competitive, and new faces are really struggling.
  3. So how about the freedom? Well, you’re probably going to need some money if you’re going to be truly free, so it fails on this point too.

If you’re an absolute beginners with your heart set on bringing your designs to the world through t-shirts and other products, you might want to give this one a go.

If you’re looking for a way to run your own business and live your best life at the same time, I’d recommend something a bit different.

Something like Digital Leasing…

Digital Leasing’s local lead generation model really knocks it out of the park across all three of these points. Here’s what I mean…

  1. The guys behind Digital Leasing are some of the best coaches in the business, with materials that go way, way beyond anything a YouTube video can teach you.
  2. I’ve seen people make a few thousand dollars from each of their digital rental properties… and you can scale this with as many digital rental properties as you like.
  3. Perhaps the biggest win is the freedom… running your digital rental properties is a hands-off process, providing reliable semi-passive income.

So what will you do with all that freedom?

Maybe you’ll finally take the trip of a lifetime… an African safari, or a Caribbean cruise?

Perhaps you tackle that project you’ve been thinking about for years… your novel or screenplay?

Or it could be you’ll devote more time to the friends and family that make life so special?

It’s totally up to you.

What’s Inside The Ecom Family Academy?

What's Inside The Ecom Family Academy?

So what are dealing with here? Let’s take a more detailed look at what you get when you sign up for this training program…

Module One – Introduction

As you might have guessed from the title, we’re starting at the beginning here. You’ll get to hear from Mr and Mrs Ecom for the first time, and discover what’s in store for you.

This part of the course covers:

  • A short welcome to the course, and a run through of what you can expect
  • Tips on how to get started, how to get the best from the program, and how to begin your print on demand journey
  • A detailed examination of the modules to come
  • How to get support and guidance on the way

Module Two – Mindset

This is the first ‘proper’ module of the course. The first one is really just a warm-up session. However, you’re still not really learning any ecommerce skills yet.

The second module is all about getting in the right mindset so you can do ecommerce the right way. While you might be impatient to get to the more practical sections, this module is still worth your time. Most courses begin with a “mindset” section, and this certainly is critical if you are to make your business a success.

Module Three – The Fundamentals

Now we’re getting into the more practical aspects of the course. We’re still at a basic level, but you’ll start to gain a good foundation for setting up your print on demand business.

If you’ve already got a bit of experience with this business model, you might be nodding off by now. If you’re a beginner, though, you’re starting to get a clearer picture of what success in this industry is all about.

Module Four – Product Research

You’ll certainly need to be selling products if you want to be successful in e-commerce. But not just any products… you need to offer great stuff to your customers if you want to stand out.

This is why Mr and Mrs Ecom devote a whole module to helping you do this. They look at social media channels like Facebook and Pinterest, as well as online shopping platforms like Etsy and eBay, to find great products for your store.

Module Five – Product Designing

Print on demand is certainly a bit more creative than other types of ecommerce. You’re not just selling a funky toothbrush holder you found online… you’re selling your own designs on t-shirts and other products.

In the product design module, you’ll learn how to use tools like Canva for creating designs people really want to pay for. You’ll also learn a bit about designing ads in this module, and you’ll probably be using the same tools for this.

Module Six – Building Your Store

You can’t sell products unless you’ve got a store!

In module six, you’ll find out how you can set up your Shopify store, and start optimizing it for success.

Module Seven – Uploading Your Products & Creating My First Ad Creative

This is basically your final step before you can start selling products for real. You learn how to keep a solid flow of products on your store pages, so your customers always have something new to engage with.

You’ll also discover the tools and services you can use for your print on demand products, as well as developing creative campaigns for your promo and ad strategies.

Module Eight – TikTok Ads

Mr and Mrs Ecom love TikTok, and I don’t blame them. This is a super popular social media platform these days, and all those videos are great for engagement on a massive scale.

In the final module, you’ll learn how to create TikTok ads. You’ll also discover more about how engagement works on TikTok, and understand what makes some ads stand out over others. Lastly, you’ll get practical skills in ad creation and scaling.

My Ecom Family Academy Reviews Roundup – The Conclusion

The Ecom Family Academy

Ok, lets bring this Ecom Family Academy reviews roundup to a close…

What we’ve got here is a fine course that gives you lots of the fundamental info you need to get started in e-commerce. Reginald and Tania have made a success of this business, and they believe you can too if you follow in their footsteps.

But does it actually work? Well, it can do, but cracking the ecommerce market is really hard these days. The big names have all the best selling products, and they work with all the best partners… the ‘fast shipping’, ‘high quality’ partners. There’s barely room left for anyone else to get a look in.

If you’re super psyched on print on demand, and you need to learn the basics, you might want to give this a try. For everyone else, though, I’d look elsewhere…

So where do you go from here? You could check out another one of my reviews, like this one on Ecom Genie.

Or you could just sit tight and discover my #1 pick for making money online in 2024…

My #1 Way for Making Money Online In 2024!

Digital Leasing - GGM

Our review team has spent months reviewing dozens of business models and thousands of programs.

And the research IS conclusive:

Digital Leasing is the #1 online business model for those just starting out.

Whether you’ve never made a dollar online, or you’ve been in this space for a while, Digital Leasing is for you.

Why?

1) It’s Flexible: got an hour a day? You can do this. Even with a little time each day, you can move the needle in a Digital Leasing business.

You can earn PASSIVE INCOME – if you stop working, the money doesn’t.

Imagine taking 3 months off to tour around Europe, rent a cabin in the woods to write a book, hike the Appalachian Trail, or live on the beach and surf all day.

Print on demand can give you some semi-passive income, but only if the profits are rolling in. With such a saturated business these days, I don’t see much profit potential here.

2) You Own & Control EVERYTHING: To succeed with print on demand, you need rapid shipping times, high quality products, and stunning customer service. Except… you’re not in control of this, you’ve got to rely on your suppliers coming through for you.

With Digital Leasing, you own all the assets, which means you have all the power and all the control.

3) Little To No Startup Costs: Using the strategies outlined in this program, you can get into digital leasing with zero dollars upfront.

You can have your first Digital Rental Property up and running and generating profits for less than $100.

4) Easy To Duplicate: OK, here’s the best part: once you have your first Digital Rental Property up and running, you can literally DOUBLE your income with a few clicks.

Each Digital Rental Property is worth $500 to $2,000 a month in semi-passive income (over 95% profit). Creating another one and increasing your income gets easier every time.

How do you double your profits with print on demand? Sell twice as many products, I guess… good luck with that!

5) Make Money Helping Real People: Small, local business owners need more customers, and with Digital Leasing, you are unleashing a flood of happy, paying customers for these businesses.

You make money by helping them make money. This part is what makes it all worth it… helping a small business owner in your community. That’s how Digital Leasing makes a real impact in the lives of real people.

Get started today and join a community of over 2,000 successful students who are living life on their own terms and achieving a consistent, reliable, semi-passive stream of income while helping real people.

If this sounds more like what you want out of life click here to learn more about Digital Leasing.
